ERICSSON’S CEO: IF THE BAN ON HUAWEI CONTINUES, ERICSSON WILL LEAVE SWEDEN
爱立信总裁：如果（瑞典）继续禁用华为，爱立信将离开瑞典
In terms of 5G development, the process has been a bit complicated because of Huawei. In terms of 5G equipment, there are three major manufacturers – Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia. Since the ban on Huawei by multiple countries, the playing field has not been level. Nokia and Ericsson obviously have an edge over Huawei not because they are better but because of Huawei’s ban. Ericsson’s CEO has always expressed his displeasure with this situation.
因为华为的原因，5G的发展过程变得有点复杂。在5G设备领域，全球有三大主要设备提供商——华为、爱立信和诺基亚。自从一些国家禁用华为后，这个“竞技场”就不再平坦了。由于（部分国家）对华为的禁令，诺基亚和爱立信显然拥有了一定优势，但这并不是因为他们更好。爱立信的总裁也一直对这种状况表达不满。
According to reports from the Swedish “Daily News”, the CEO of Ericsson announced that “If the ban on Huawei still exists, Ericsson will leave Sweden”. It’s really strange to think that Ericsson will leave its home country over Huawei’s ban. Sweden has since banned Huawei from participating in its 5G construction. For Ericsson, it worries that it will also face the same fate in China. Therefore, it has been very vocal about the unfair position that Huawei is in.
据瑞典《每日新闻报》报道，爱立信总裁宣称“如果继续禁用华为的话，爱立信会离开瑞典”。爱立信会因为禁用华为而离开自己的国家？这个想法听起来挺奇怪的。此前瑞典已禁止华为参与该国的5G建设，而爱立信则担心它们会在中国面临相同命运。因此该公司一直为华为所面临的不公平待遇而大声疾呼。
The “Daily News” revealed that Ericsson’s CEO, Börje Ekholm, said in a text message to the Swedish Minister of Commerce, Anna Hallberg, that the company would leave Sweden unless the (Swedish government) lifted its ban against Huawei and ZTE.
《每日新闻报》披露，爱立信总裁鲍毅康（Börje Ekholm）曾发消息给瑞典商务部长安娜·哈尔伯格，称除非瑞典政府取消对华为和中兴的禁令，否则爱立信可能离开瑞典。
SWEDEN SAYS IT CAN NOT LIFT HUAWEI’S BAN
瑞典方面称其无法取消华为禁令
Holberg’s response reads “The government cannot lift the ban on Huawei, because the Swedish Post and Telecommunications Administration’s interim secretariat made the decision based on the recommendations of the security department and the National Defense Forces”.
哈尔伯格则回复消息称：“政府无法取消针对华为的禁令，因为该决定是由瑞典邮政和电信管理部临时秘书处根据安全部和国防部建议作出的。”
For Ericsson’s CEO, he attaches great importance to the Chinese market. He also supports that Huawei and other major players should file a lawsuit against the ban. Public information shows that Ericsson has tried to hire lawyers to help Huawei in litigation (win the lawsuit against the Swedish ban). Börje Ekholm also said, “Although we have talked with several Swedish law firms, no one is willing to help Huawei. There are many cowards here”.
对于爱立信总裁而言，中国市场至关重要。他也支持华为和其它重要公司针对禁令提起诉讼。有公开信息表明爱立信曾试图雇佣律师帮助华为赢得针对瑞典禁令的诉讼。鲍毅康还说：“虽然我们找过多家瑞典律师事务所，但没人愿意帮助华为。这里有太多懦夫了。”
